Welcome to An Evening at Botanica Floral and Design
We are so thrilled to introduce Emporia's newest floral shop, Botanica Floral and Design, and what better way to celebrate than with good food, beautiful blooms and great company!
This special evening is a collaboration between Botanica Floral and Design owner Liz and Chef Ginger — two creatives coming together to bring you an experience that is equal parts stunning and delicious. Liz opens her gorgeous new shop and Chef Ginger brings her signature magic to the table, quite literally.
Over four thoughtfully crafted courses you will be guided through an intimate, interactive garden party dinner right among the blooms. This is not your average dinner party — you will build your own bouquet of flavor on your plate, layering smoky chargrilled veggies, an orange blossom grain salad and an array of edible petals and infused oils into something as beautiful as it is delicious.
Come for the food, stay for the flowers, and leave with a whole new appreciation for both. This is a ticketed event with very limited seats so grab yours before they are gone!
The Menu Vegan · 4 Courses · Interactive & Family Style
🥗 Starter Chilled Pea & Mint Velouté- A velvety chilled pea soup with fresh mint, poured tableside into teacups. Chef Ginger will guide you in building your own bouquet of flavor with the edible petals and infused oils provided at every setting throughout the evening.
🌹 Entrée Caramelized Shallot Crostini with Whipped Cashew Cheese- Grilled baguette rounds with slow-caramelized shallots, cashew cheese and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Served with a light fresh side salad — dress it your way with the seasonal petals and oils at your table.
🌿 Main Chermoula Grilled Veggie Steaks with Orange Blossom Grain Salad- Family style chargrilled veggies served alongside an orange blossom grain salad with pine nuts and pomegranate seeds. Build your plate into a bouquet of flavor with the accompaniments and finishing touches at the table.
🍓 Dessert Hibiscus Crème Brûlée with Rosewater Strawberries- Vegan custard with a caramelized sugar top, served with rosewater macerated strawberries. Add your own final flourish and complete your bouquet.
An intimate, interactive dining experience where every plate tells a floral story. With edible petals and infused oils at every setting, you are always the final chef.
